Today's show is in Oklahoma City, or as the band guys call it, Oak City. It's a "hometown" show for the band. Tyson and Nick are from Stillwater, OK, which is about 45 minutes away. Mike and Chris are from the OKC suburbs.
Good crowd tonight, about 6,000 strong. Lots and lots of friends and family in the building. Tonight I watched only the first song of the show, "Dirty Little Secret". Settlement with the promoter took far, far too long to finish, but we made pretty good dough tonight. After the show, we went straight to hotel rooms here – gonna spend our day off here tomorrow for the holiday.
Is it just me? Did you hear, see, or read ANYTHING about JFK's assassination today? Neither did I. I guess nobody cares 43 years later.
