Day Off in Kansas City

Made it to the hotel around 11:30am. Got everyone into their rooms pretty quickly, in spite of the incredibly stupid people working the front desk.

I'm all the way up on the 31st floor today. Here's my view of downtown K.C.



In the distance is the new Sprint Arena going up. It's gonna replace the Kemper Arena as the main indoor concert venue here:



Didn't wanna eat at any of the hotel's 4 restaurants for lunch, so I walked 6 blocks to the nearest sandwich place. The walk was totally worth it, as I came across a new place called "Cheeseheads", which is a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich place.

Not gonna venture out again tonight. Not really feeling sociable. I'm thinking room service and TV…
