I decided this morning that I was gonna just fucking go for it this week and finish my ride. I thought about how my mom never, ever gave up on me no matter what kind of trouble I got into my whole life, so I've decided to dedicate the Thousand Mile Summer to her and her "never quit" attitude. Fingers crossed that she helps me get through this week…
Got in 50 miles today. That brings me up to 772 miles so far, leaving me 228 more to go by Saturday. That's 5 days, so I should make it if the weather cooperates.
