Today’s the second of two shows here in Nijmegen, Holland, birthplace of Eddie and Alex Van Halen. Can you believe this place has not one single statue, plaque, or other type of recognition of that fact? I can’t.

Nijmegen also figured prominently in the September 1944 "Operation Market Garden", a failed airborne/armor assault on the Rhine bridges described in "A Bridge Too Far" in the 1960s, and in the 2001 miniseries "Band of Brothers" and the book it's based on.
